Please pass on a thank you to Glen about yesterday’s talk at St Ives High School. I am extremely excited and inspired about the passion, drive and enthusiasm that was in the hall at St Ives yesterday and the students response. We will certainly pass on Glen’s details to the 15 public and private schools we are working with on the north shore. I feel there needs to be recognition for Glen’s work in the context of Adolescent Health.

Good morning Glen. I feel compelled to thank you for your talk last night. I know it may be unusual for a world weary 64 year old like me to be highly emotionally affected by a motivational speech but I was. There are so many so called motivational speakers around-mostly they brag about how rich they are and then want people to pay them to try out some business deals that may only work for very few people.

In your case I could empathise with your background - mainly health and family problems. I too have had these problems and have suffered many years of various levels of depression and anxiety as well as physical and emotional health problems. Luckily many of these problems have greatly reduced over recent years as a result of a divorce, retirement and finding my partner 3 years ago.

I am going to try harder to forget about unhealthy and unimportant memories as you advised in your talk last night. I have started this process by selling my late parents' house where I have lived for the past 7 years and have booked a one month European holiday to share with my partner. I will remember your talk in moments of despair and will try to make practical decisions devoid of unwanted sentimentality.

Glens’ personal experiences uniquely position him as a genuine voice in overcoming adversity. His ability to articulate the challenges faced by young people is only superseded by his ability to articulate their solutions. I recommend this message to anyone who wishes to live life to their full potential and make their life count.

Dr Phil Pringle OAM, Leadership Authority, Author & Communicator

I have applied what you have said to my racing and I went out and won the most competitive race of the year. It’s safe to say that none of this would have happened without your advice.

WOW! Is what I can say. What a fantastic day I had listening to Glen from Oxygen Factory. When I first walked in I thought he looked pretty similar to all of us. How wrong was I? This is a man who oozes passion, vitality and a love for life. This is a man who explains to us from his own experiences that dreams can come true if you take the time to think about what you really want in life. He has an inspirational story from his own life that is truly amazing.

I learnt that if you truly believe in yourself nothing will stop your dream. Glen had and has a personal power source inside of him labeled, 'passion'. This is not something that gets turned on at the appropriate times. He lives and breathes it; it's throughout his being all of the time.

Dear Glen and team, I recently attended your workshop Glen at the Youth Pathways National Conference in Melbourne and it was incredible. I usually find workshops a bit boring but I had tears in my eyes when I attended yours. It was just magic. The mentors we invited to the seminar are raving about Glen's seminars and has asked Management that his seminars be mandatory in the training opportunities provided to them. It's been very well received.

I want to say a sincere thank you for nurturing my passion for working with young people. I felt a renewed energy to encourage the spunk and spirit the young people show today. Glen's seminars haven't only just helped me professionally but personally also. His message transcends across all walks of life and it's been really nice to feel passion again.

Kirby Cooper - Youth Pathways Consultant, Boystown Redlands QLD February 2008

Please convey my warmest regards to Glen. I think his presentation was excellent. Certainly, the student reaction was extremely positive. They remembered his comments and his achievements right through the whole forum and in my conversations with them they admired the way in which he was not defeated by adversity.

Glen Gerreyn addressed the Northern Sydney Region 2007 Student Leadership Conference which was held at the Zenith Theatre at Chatswood. The 130 students present were very inspired by Glen’s story and his work in the community. The students found the presentation memorable, and the connection Glen created with them was evident as many came up to him afterwards to speak to him personally, and shake his hand. Many of the students commented that he was the best motivational speaker they had heard and that they would like him to come to their schools, as he had changed the way they viewed the world and themselves.
