Oxygen Factory is hosting a Men of Honour Megafest!


The aim of Men of Honour is to educate males on how to decisively and successfully transition from boy to man. It also addresses the epidemic of drug and alcohol abuse throughout adolescence by including information on addiction and how to navigate these issues as a teenager. 

 

Date: Monday 2nd August 2010

 

Time: Pre-entertainment starting at 9am for a 10am seminar start, concluding at 2.30pm

 

Venue: C3 Church Oxford Falls, 34 Wakehurst Parkway Oxford Falls 

 

Guests: The Men of Honour Megafest invitation is extended to BOYS ONLY for year 10 & 11 students and male teachers.
Invitations have gone out to over 3000 male students on the Northern Beaches and North Shore. 

 

Cost: $15.00 per student, which includes the 4 hour program, morning tea and lunch, a workbook and pen as well as many other activities!

 

Proposed Program: 

Pancakes on arrival for all students
Glen Gerreyn to present the Men of Honour program, including giveaways and prizes
Men of Honour 16 page workbook and pen for each student
Lunch for all students
Catering in a dedicated area for teachers
Principals accommodated in a separate VIP green room
Entertainment during lunch including rides, shows by Manly Blade and the opportunity to meet players from local rugby league and union teams

Ku-ring-gai Youth Development Services is hosting a parent forum on 'Understanding your teen.'

 

Presented by Glen Gerreyn the topic for this forum is: How does Generation Y navigate relationships - how you can help!

 

Date: Monday 9th August 2010

 

Time: 6.30pm - 8.30pm (Registration from 6.15pm)

 

Venue: Ku-ring-gai Council Chambers, Level 3, 818 Pacific Highway, Gordon

 

Cost: Gold coin donation
